This branding project is themed around a fictional music award show called “Summer Music Awards.” The Summer Music Awards is a festival-style award show that highlights fun, energetic K-pop tracks perfect for the summer season. Its goal is to give the audience a refreshing escape from the heat, creating a place where they can recharge through dynamic music and a vibrant, summery atmosphere. This motion graphic introduces the nominees for one of the categories in the award show and also serves as a promotional piece for the Summer Music Awards.
The logo is inspired by the shape of ocean waves, visually representing the two consecutive “M” letters in the word “summer.” The triangular forms evoke the motion of waves and reinforce the dynamic theme of the season. To capture a cool and lively mood, the color palette combines shades of blue with neon green, creating a refreshing and energetic visual identity.
